AUDIO VERSIONCHRISTMAS MEANINGChristmas is one of the most wonderful times of the year. There are parties, decorated homes, fond traditions to celebrate, and gifts to be shared. We get lost in the season and forget the reason we celebrate it.
“For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.” John 3:16
God gave us the greatest gift of all as we celebrate Christmas: Jesus. What the world needs now is love. We all need love. Our spouse needs love, and our child needs love. A senior sitting alone needs love, and a child alone needs love.
God sent Jesus, His only Son, as our Savior; He knew we could not save ourselves. God sent Jesus to be born in a manger, die on the cross, rise again, and come again to redeem us.
Spend a few minutes with your family and friends to share God’s gift of love with others who are all alone on Christmas.
“Behold, the virgin shall be with child, and bear a Son, and they shall call His name Immanuel,” which is translated, “God with us.” Matthew 1:23
Because of God’s gift, we can have a relationship with Jesus. The first gift of Christmas was the gift of Jesus from God to us.
Where are you spending your Christmas?Do you need Prayer? We are here to pray with you.
“Heavenly Father, For You, Father God, sent Your only begotten Son into the world to save us all from sin. I have accepted Your Son into my heart, and I am now Your child. You brought forth Jesus, the precious gift, Your Son, into this world that has given life to whoever accepts Him. This precious gift of love has changed my life, and now I will have everlasting life with You. Thank You for Jesus. In His name, Amen.”
