AUDIO VERSIONGOD’S TIMING FOR THE NEW YEARAs a society, we are focused on what is next. This way of thinking can cause us to become impatient and maybe even frustrated.

“He has made everything beautiful in its time. Also He has put eternity in their hearts, except that no one can find out the work that God does from beginning to end.” Ecclesiastes 3:11

We live in a fast-paced world, and there is always something out there that is bigger and better than what we already have.

We may come up with a list of things we want to accomplish in 2023, but as Believers, we are faced with an important question: Are our New Year’s resolutions based on our desires? Or are they based on God’s desire for our life?

God has made everything beautiful in its time. His plans for our lives are greater than we can imagine because of His love for us.

“And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.” Romans 8:28

While it may seem as though we know what we need, we can find comfort in knowing that we serve a God who loves us and is always at work. When we align our desires with His plans, great things will come.

Take time during this busy season to reflect on all God has done in your life. Instead of rushing ahead, think about times in the previous year when God was faithful and how your life is being used to bring Him glory.

“Behold, I will do a new thing, Now it shall spring forth; Shall you not know it? I will even make a road in the wilderness And rivers in the desert.” Isaiah 43:19

When we see all God has done in our lives, we can look to the future with great expectation. We can find hope in what is to come because God has great plans for us in the new year.Do you need Prayer? We are here to pray with you.

“Heavenly Father, I want to live 2023, putting God’s Word first and final authority in my life. Only in this will I live in true Victory. as none of us know what tomorrow holds. We will walk in Your ways and have Your thoughts from Your Word. Only then will I have peace and joy in believing You. My future will be with great expectations. I know I will have hope in what is to come because You have great plans for me in this New Year. Thank You for real life lived in You. In Jesus’ name, Amen.”
