Gene’s Daily Scriptural Postings.

01 January 2023

This start of the new year is an excellent time to let go of regret and worry. These two, Regret and worry, are both weapons of the enemy which keep us from stepping into our destinies. Regret is meditation on a past that cannot be changed. It focuses our attention on the mistakes we made along the way. However, the past is behind us. God's mercies are new every morning to free us from the chains of our past mistakes. At the same time, worrying is simply meditating about bad things that might happen, but in truth, mostly likely won't. Instead, you will do much better to stay in “today.” Keep your mind in the present. Seek God. Focus on Him as you look to Jesus. Prioritize His Kingdom presence throughout your day and you will see your worries and regrets fade into insignificance.

Happy New Year from NewCREEations!
