AUDIO VERSIONLIVE A LIFE OF JOY AND PEACEAs much as we can, we always try to hide everything we do, especially if it is terrible. Yet, no one is counting you on that.
He who covers his sins will not prosper, But whoever confesses and forsakes them will have mercy. Proverbs 28:13
Life is easy, they say; you either want prosperity and success with joy and peace, or you want poverty and failure with pain and misery. Take your pick! Well, of course, we would want joy and peace.
Everyone wants to make that choice and wants to have a life of peace and prosperity. Now, we will then ask ourselves, what's the catch?
There is no catch; all we have to do is to be true to ourselves. As sinful as we are, we love to keep to ourselves how bad we are. As much as we can, we do not want anyone to know that we did something wrong.
We love it so much; we try to pretend that we are so innocent, like we have not done anything wrong. Today's Bible verse warns us that if we hide our sins, we will not prosper and will only have misery and poverty.
God does not want us to act righteous and pretend that we are all good when we sin when no one is paying attention.
God wants us to confess our sins and renounce them so we will find mercy. God does not want us to be hypocrites; He wants us to accept and acknowledge that we sinned and need mercy.
We cannot just walk around proclaiming that we are all righteous even if everything we do is sinning against God. Instead of feeling righteous, we must declare, acknowledge, and confess that we sinned and receive the mercy and grace of God.
We do not have to pretend we are righteous once we receive God's grace and mercy because we will be made righteous by God and then be forgiven and renewed.
Let us live a life with prosperity, peace, and joy in Jesus, confess our sins before God, and acknowledge that we need Him because we know that we will live forever in eternity, saved by grace through faith in Jesus.
Our sins are not counted anymore once we offer them to God. We are granted mercy and grace so that we will then have eternal life. All of these are through Jesus, our Lord, and Savior.
We must never forget to acknowledge our sins, accept God's forgiveness, and let His mercy flood our lives.
Do you want a life of peace and prosperity?Do you need Prayer? We are here to pray with you.
“Heavenly Father, I am so thankful for the cross of Jesus, Who paid the ultimate sacrifice for my eternal life with You. As I come before You daily, I ask You to forgive me of any known or unknown things I might have said or done. I want the relationship I have with You to be the first in my heart and also in my mind that I might live and show others You by You living in me. What a life of peace and prosperity. In Jesus’ name, Amen.”
