Jesus said, “no one puts new wine into old wineskins.” We must mix the new wine of revelation from God with the new wineskin of our faith in order for it to be effective in our lives. Just hearing, or even agreeing with God's word is not enough. We need to believe that word from God and act on it in faith. Until we do, that word will have little impact on our lives. But once a word from God becomes revelation to your heart and you act on it in faith, that word has the potential to sort out anything in your life amazingly fast.

And no one puts new wine into old wineskins; or else the new wine will burst the wineskins and be spilled, and the wineskins will be ruined.— Luke 5:37 (NKJV)
