AUDIO VERSIONSTART YOUR DAY WITH GODYou need to begin your day with God. Take a lesson from David and start your day with God. The first thing David did every morning was to lift his voice to God.
My voice You shall hear in the morning, O Lord; In the morning I will direct it to You, And I will look up. Psalm 5:3
David's first words of the day were addressed to God, not to a person. He said, in the morning, I will direct it to You, and I will look up.
What a fantastic way to begin the day.
Lift your voice to God in prayer, direct your requests before God, and set out the things you will have to do that day before God every morning.
Turn over to God all the problems that will add stress to your day, and tell God all the difficulties you anticipate.
Start having God guide your decisions for the day. Then, like David, you will be able to look up, and God will help you.
Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; Philippians 4:6
When you start your day with God, you will meet the day confident and stress-free expecting God to answer the prayers you asked God for help in the morning.
And my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:19
The way we begin our day determines everything that is going to follow. Seldom will the day end more blessed than the beginning.
When you start your day with God, you can make it through your entire day with peace. Start each day by letting God hear your voice and watch the difference in your relationship with God and your life!
How does your day begin? Do you start with an alarm? Do you wake up naturally at a specific time? Do you find yourself often short of patience and short of temper, especially with your spouse or family stressed? Do you start the day unprepared or not confident of what lies ahead?Do you need Prayer? We are here to pray with you.
“Heavenly Father, I will start my day with You, I know You are there to lead and guide. I know You will supply all my needs according to Your riches in glory by Christ Jesus. I will meditate on these promises to me in Your Word. When Your Words of joy and peace are in my heart, they will lead my day. Thank You, Father. In Jesus’ name, Amen.”
