AUDIO VERSIONGOD IS OUR HELP IN TROUBLELife can be challenging at times when people and circumstances let you down. In those difficult times, we experience sadness and disappointment, and we need to remember that God is there to be our help in trouble.

If you drown your sorrows in Netflix and a big bowl of ice cream, then you know that is where you go to escape. God wants to be your first call when things are difficult.
The Bible tells us that God is our refuge and strength. When we do not know how we will make it, God wants to help us in trouble.
When things are not going the way we want them to go, God wants to be the One we turn to instead of worrying and stressing. God wants to be our refuge and strength.
It is entirely up to us, and we must let God be first in our lives. We can choose to go to our friends, TV, or the Word of God when things get tough. Everything has its place, but we have to go to God first.
casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you. 1 Peter 5:7
If you have not turned your problems over to God, start today to do things differently. Choose to let God be your refuge and strength. Let Him speak into your life and look to the Bible for your answers and see the power of allowing God to be your help in your times of need.
God has given us His Word, so we can hear His voice and know the truth. Remember that God is never far away and is your help in times of trouble, always working on your behalf.
When you are going through tough times, what do you do? Where do you go? Who do you confide in? Your answers to those questions show you what your foundation is.

Heavenly Father, I am thankful I have a place to turn to in life when the way gets rough. I turn to You and Your Word. Without that, I have nothing but heartache and pain. The life You have provided gives me strength in times of need. I will not be defeated, and I will not quit. Thank You for Your arms of love. In Jesus name, Amen.
