AUDIO VERSIONGOD IS PATIENT Things do not happen just because we want them to, and sometimes we experience doubt and even try to control things on our own when we do not see God at work in our time frame.
The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some count slackness, but is longsuffering toward us, not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance. 2 Peter 3:9
Peter tells us that time is very different for God, and He is unlimited by hours in a day and by the number of days in a week.
But, beloved, do not forget this one thing, that with the Lord one day is as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day. 2 Peter 3:8
Peter tells us that God is not slow in keeping His promises as we understand timing. It may seem like it is taking a long time, and our situation has not changed, but God may be working behind the scenes that we can not see from our perspective.
God is patient, wanting each of us to know Him, and we must remember that God will always keep His promises in His timing.
