Gene's Daily Scriptural Postings

01 February 2022

Prayer is about connection with God. When we connect with God, we are connecting with the very power of heaven itself. When we pray, we are providing a connection point for heaven to enter the earth. We are the conduit for the power of heaven to be unleashed on this hurting world. But more than that, our prayers can actually enforce the will of God in our world. After all, that's part of how Jesus taught us to pray, "Your kingdom come, Your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven." Therefore our payers have the power and ability to change things so they line up with the Kingdom of God. That makes prayer both an incredible privilege, and an awesome responsibility. How will you bring heaven to your world today?

Therefore pray in this manner:

Our Father who is in heaven,

hallowed be Your name.

Your kingdom come;

Your will be done

on earth, as it is in heaven.— Matthew 6:9-10 (MEV)
