And Jesus went about all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing all kinds of sickness and all kinds of disease among the people. Matthew 4:23
Jesus changed His approach to healing so that people would not focus on how He healed but instead focus on God. The focus was never on the miracles but on the Word of God.
While focusing on God, they would pray for people who were then healed. They would see miracles performed by the hand of God, and even demons would be cast out of people.
Surely He has borne our griefs And carried our sorrows; Yet we esteemed Him stricken, Smitten by God, and afflicted. Isaiah 53:4
God can and does heal; we should ask Him for healing when we are sick. On the cross, Jesus bore our sicknesses and carried our diseases, and by His stripes, we are healed.
God sent Jesus for us, and He heals. It is what God provided for His children, and we know it is by grace through faith and believing Him.
who Himself bore our sins in His own body on the tree, that we, having died to sins, might live for righteousness by whose stripes you were healed. 1 Peter 2:24
God works in a certain way; something in our nature makes us want to gravitate toward Him. It is not healing that we need most; the Healer Himself provides our healing.

Heavenly Father, I know You, my creator, is able to heal me in any circumstance. Your Word has provisions and promises. I will take Your Words to meditate day and night as Your Word says. I will then have a prosperous way and good success. Your Word said You sent Your Word and healed. I am a child of Yours and I will meditate on Your Word day and night. Your Word in my mouth makes the way for me to go. I will follow You with my words and my very being. Thank You, Father, for Your precious Word and promises. In Jesus name, Amen.
