The only way to overcome evil is by responding with good. Proverbs tells us the wisdom in being kind to the enemy who has wronged us. This is one example where the Kingdom of God is exactly backwards from the world. Returning kindness when people wrong you is the best way to get back at the person in the Kingdom. Plus, God will reward you for that kind act too. Be the light in your dark world, and watch your environment change. People will naturally be drawn to your light and want to know what makes you different. That is perhaps the best way to expand the Kingdom of God.
