Gene's Daily Scriptural Postings

15 February 2022

The way we tap into the good news of Jesus Christ is through the promises of God. It is through God's promises that we experience the benefits of the Kingdom of God. They are the means by which God has already made provision for everything you need in life. These promises are written all through the Bible. Our part is to learn what these promises are, believe them, and respond to them in faith. What are you lacking in your life? God has already made a provision for that in one or more of His promises. Search out the promise that you need for today. Meditate on it. Make it part of you until you believe it and can act on it in faith. God is your source. He is your provider. His promises are the means He uses to get that provision to you.

His divine power has given to us all things that pertain to life and godliness through the knowledge of Him who has called us by His own glory and excellence, by which He has given to us exceedingly great and precious promises, so that through these things you might become partakers of the divine nature and escape the corruption that is in the world through lust.— 2 Peter 1:3-4 (MEV)
