For any goals that must be set
Use this method to know they’re met
SMART’s an acronym that you use
Let’s break it down, the meaning peruse
“S” is for “specific” goals
Make them defined, not full of holes
“M” is “measurable”, to be clear
Mark your goals, when far and near
“A” ‘s achievable, let’s be plain
A goal is something you can gain
“R” is relevant, it must matter
To the point at hand, not just clatter
“T” ‘s for timebound, a deadline set
When you must have this goal be met
That’s all there is and nothing more!
Keep it SMART and soon you’ll soar!
