The “Colonel’s” VFV Motivational/Inspirational Quotes & Message of the Day!
Good “Sunday!” Morning “Band of Brothers & Sisters,” and all great connections. Welcome from the “Colonel’s Foxhole” in The Woodlands, TX — 5 February 2023!
Today’s Message is: “Let Go Day!” Why Not?
“Strong and confident leaders know when to let go. They empower people to take the lead and reach for the objective. They don’t have to micromanage and control others to achieve the primary vision. These leaders build confidence, mentor, delegate, allow people to do what they do best. Do you know when to let go, trust your people, and allow them to take the initiative?” — COL (Ret) Mikel Burroughs

Good Sunday afternoon Colonel
Good morning Col Burroughs and all of my brothers and sisters here on VFV. It is hard for some folks to let go, be it the past, a problem or a hurt or any other thing that seems to cause us to struggle with us letting someone else handle our problems. I found out that I could not do all things myself and that I would need help fighting things beyond my control. I am specifically speaking to overcoming cancer and surviving a major heart attack. The truth is that once I totally surrendered myself and let God take over, things worked out well for me. Letting go and letting God handle those things that I struggled with, my joy…
A college professor of mine once said that the difference between an entrepreneur and a leader is that the entrepreneur lives to create and let go while the leader lives to pick up and run.
