The world was cursed at the fall of Adam in the Garden. Now mankind is desperately searching for some sort of an escape from the world's corruption. That's why mammon is so powerfully alluring. People think if they can just get enough money, it will solve all their problems.
But it's a trap because riches gained by chasing mammon come with all kinds of negative destructive baggage that isn't visible at first.
Fortunately God provides a better way. The Bible says the way to escape the corruption of this world is through God's promises. The more we come to understand the Kingdom of God and align our lives, thoughts, and actions with the Kingdom, the more of the Kingdom resources will come our way. I’m talking about all the resources of the Kingdom — wealth, health, wisdom, favor, good relationships — you name it.
And it all works on the principle of promises. That's how we get to the truly abundant life. To the degree that you have knowledge of God and how His Kingdom operates is the degree that your prayers will be answered. | ||
