What is the R.A.R.E Art?
The R.A.R.E. ART project serves veterans and people with invisible illnesses by giving them the experience of healing through various forms of art. Nearly ninety-six percent of people with chronic medical conditions live with an illness that is invisible. The R.A.R.E. ART project provides a platform where these individuals can gain the resources they need to successfully manage their illnesses and heal.
Hope's Story
Victory for Veterans is proud to partner with Hope Hill of Working with Hope. After she was diagnosed with a rare neurological autoimmune disease, her career ended abruptly due to the severity and unpredictability of her illness. During that time, she was unable to take part in everyday life activities. In her darkest hours, she experienced such unconditional love and acceptance that she wanted to share it with those who had lost hope and were ready to give up. Hope's goal is that Working with Hope will introduce a radically different narrative to invisible illnesses. It will enable us to see beyond what our eyes can perceive. Instead, we will see the beauty within.
