David encourages us to do just that, knowing that God will grant us the desires of our hearts that fulfill our purpose.
In the hustle and bustle of life, we often focus on pursuing success, happiness, and fulfillment.
We need to pause and have a conversation with God; it is an invitation to align our desires with the purpose God has for our lives.
When we do that, God will give us the desires of our hearts that align with His plan for our lives.
When we seek the guidance of God for our plans and goals for the new year, we put God first in our lives. He then places our desires in our hearts.
This year may have challenges, growth, and unexpected turns, but in those twists and turns, we can find comfort that God is actively working to bring about the desires He has placed in our hearts.
Take time this week to reflect, pray, and share your dreams with God; trust that He, in His infinite wisdom, will guide your steps and give you the desires He will place in your heart.

Heavenly Father, I will take time this week to reflect, pray, and share my dreams with You; trust that You, in Your infinite wisdom, will guide my steps and give me the desires You will place in my heart.
