It is not just about material wealth or worldly success; it is about living a fulfilling and spiritually enriching life.
Blessed is the man Who walks not in the counsel of the ungodly, Nor stands in the path of sinners, Nor sits in the seat of the scornful. Psalm 1:1
David gives us a roadmap to that kind of blessed life. He tells us not to walk in the counsel of the ungodly. In other words, be careful who you listen to and get advice from.
Surround yourself with people who uplift and inspire you, who lead you closer to God instead of leading you away from Him.
It is easy to get caught up in how the people around us treat us, but as Believers, we are called to a higher standard. Instead of conforming to the ways of the world, we should strive to live lives of love and integrity.
It is important to monitor our attitudes and mindsets. Instead of harboring bitterness, resentment, or cynicism, we need to cultivate hearts filled with love, compassion, and humility.
We need to be intentional about the company we keep, the choices we make, and the attitudes we adopt. It means prioritizing our relationship with God above all else and aligning our lives with the Bible.
When we heed the wisdom of the Bible, we are positioned to experience all the blessings God has for our lives not just in the future but here and now.
Living according to the Word of God gives you joy, peace, and purpose, and you become a light in a world that desperately needs it.
Heavenly Father, I thank You for Your Words of wisdom You have for each one of us. When I heed the wisdom of the Bible, I am positioned to experience all the blessings You have for my life, not just in the future but here and now. I will read Your Word daily for wisdom, and as I meditate on Your Word, I will receive instruction and live more like Your Word says. I will be able to share You even in my outlook and attitude of life. Thank You, Father God. I pray in the name of Jesus. Amen.
Living According To The Word Of God Gives You Joy, Peace, And Purpose, And You Become A Light In A World That Desperately Needs It.
