RISEN SAVIOR MEANS NEW LIFE

Jesus is risen, and He conquered death, sin, and despair, and because He lives, we can face tomorrow with confidence and hope.

But the angel answered and said to the women, Do not be afraid, for I know that you seek Jesus who was crucified. He is not here; for He is risen, as He said. Come, see the place where the Lord lay. Matthew 28:5-6

Imagine being those women at the tomb; they must have been in disbelief, their hearts heavy with grief over the loss of Jesus. As they approached the tomb, something unexpected happened, an angel.

Now, angels showing up are not exactly an everyday occurrence. These women were startled, but the angel quickly reassured them, saying, Do not be afraid.

Imagine the mixture of emotions flooding those women at that very moment. Shock, disbelief, overwhelming joy, all rolled into one.

They thought Jesus was dead, gone forever, and He was alive! Just as He said, He would be. They entered the tomb and found it empty, just as the angel said.

Put yourself in the shoes of those women and imagine the rollercoaster of emotions they must have experienced, the despair of Friday, the uncertainty of Saturday, and the uncontainable joy of Sunday morning.

As you celebrate Easter week, do not just go through the motions. Take a moment to grasp the significance of what happened on that first Easter and rejoice in the resurrection of Jesus and the new life He offers to all who believe in Him.

Do you need Prayer? We are here to pray with you.

Heavenly Father, I am so blessed to be part of Your family. Because of Jesus and His resurrection, I am able to be a child of the King. As we celebrate Palm Sunday, may I stir my heart to know the true meaning of this week and, because of this week, the price that was paid for my salvation. Thank You, my Father God. I pray in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Jesus Is Risen, And He Conquered Death, Sin, And Despair, And Because He Lives, We Can Face Tomorrow With Confidence And Hope.
