If then you were raised with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ is, sitting at the right hand of God. Set your mind on things above, not on things on the earth. For you died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God. When Christ who is our life appears, then you also will appear with Him in glory.
Paul encourages us to remember where our focus should be on the heavenly things above, not just the temporary things around us.

When we decided to follow Jesus, our old selves and sinful desires were cast away. Now, our real life, the one that matters the most, is with Jesus. Talk about security!
When Jesus comes back in all His glory, we get to share in His glory. How incredible is that?
That is a reminder always to keep our minds focused on the things above and not get caught up in the things of this world. Our true identity is found in Christ; now that our old selves are gone, and we are living a new life in Him.
As you go about your day, keep that heavenly perspective in mind. Live like you are alive in Christ because that is exactly who you are.
Eagerly anticipate the day when Jesus returns, knowing that you will be right there with Him in all His glory. That is something worth celebrating every day, especially during this Easter week.
Heavenly Father, I am thankful I know You as Father God. I will be obedient to Your Word. Your Word says to meditate in Your Word day and night, that I may observe to do all that is written in it, then I will make my way prosperous, and then I will have good success. I thank You for this life in You. I am truly blessed. I pray in the name of Jesus. Amen.
