LIVING OUT OUR FAITH

You may have been in a situation where someone challenged your beliefs, or you felt pressured to conform to the norms around you.

But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts, and always be ready to give a defense to everyone who asks you a reason for the hope that is in you, with meekness and fear. 1 Peter 3:15

Peter gives us some timeless advice that still holds weight today: make God the center of our thoughts and actions.

When we do that, our perspective changes. Suddenly, it is not about fitting in with the crowd anymore; it is about living out our faith boldly, regardless of what others might think.

We need to be prepared to explain why we believe what we believe. That does not mean we have to have all the answers. It means being willing to share our personal experiences and our reasons for hope with others.

This is crucial today, when debates can quickly turn into shouting matches and social media arguments escalate in seconds.

Meekness is not about weakness; it is about humility and gentleness, about speaking the truth in love without arrogance or hostility. It is not about being scared; it is about reverence for God and respect for others.

As you go about your day, remember this devotion: Set God apart in your heart, be prepared to share your faith with others, and do it all with humility and respect.

Who knows? Your willingness to live out your faith boldly will spark curiosity in those around you and open opportunities for you to share your hope in Jesus.

Do you need Prayer? We are here to pray with you.

Heavenly Father, I ask You to use me this day and in the days to come. I am willing to be a vessel of honor so I can be an influence to others who are walking in fear and unrest. You have promised peace, joy, and the leading of Your Holy Spirit to guide me. I will be a listener of Your Word and Your Holy Spirit. Thank You for all the provision You have given to each of us as we receive You as Lord and Savior. I pray in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Your Willingness To Live Out Your Faith Boldly Will Spark Curiosity In Those Around You And Open Opportunities For You To Share Your Hope In Jesus.
