The world is exactly backwards from the Kingdom of God when it comes to provision. In the Kingdom we don’t selfishly hoard and protect what we have from others. Instead, the way to see increase in the Kingdom of God is by releasing generosity and giving to others.
Giving away what you need makes no sense to the natural mind. But the spiritually minded understand that they are putting the universal law of sowing and reaping to work on their behalf. This Kingdom law is why generosity works to bring us increase.
In the Kingdom of God what we give away comes back to us. We are free to be generous knowing God himself will repay us. When you give to the Lord, that provision does not leave your life. Instead, it enters your future and multiplies while it waits for you to arrive.
