TONIGHT's Topic: "Anniversary Anger!"

"For many MST and crime victims, the anniversary date of the trauma often brings up a grab bag of emotions, mainly anger and guilt. Often those are sadly directed at the wrong target, as we often blame ourselves for allowing the incident to happen. This is unfortunate. We are not to blame for the violence others have perpetrated on us, yet, on those anniversary dates, the ones that are to blame are nowhere to be found, so we tend to lash out at ourselves and our loved ones. There are better ways to deal with this anger and the anniversary emotions." — Air Force Veteran Steven Bates

Join us tonight with author and Air Force veteran Steven Bates as we discuss ways to cope with anniversary anger and other emotions that make themselves known when time reminds us of our traumatic events."
