Petty Officer Second Class (Ret) Audry McHugh is a proud US Navy Veteran. While in service to her country was raped mulitple times during her time on Active Duty. These rapes and sexual assaults occured on and off base by different assailants. There were no disciplinary actions as these rapes and sexual assaults occurred in 2004 and 2005 where little was being done to combat this evil.
Audry McHugh attended Penn State in which she holds a degree in Security Risk Analysis in CyberSecurity with a minor in Information Technology. After leaving Active Duty she continued to serve her country by serving as an IT Specialist with the Department of Defense for over 10 years.
By being raped in the military, Audry McHugh was 80 percent more likely to get into a domestic violence relationship. While on Active Duty she was violently assaulted nearly every day with baseball bats to her head, her head shoved through doors, walls and repeatedly knocked out unconscious. She has a TBI from the domestic violence which serving on Active Duty. She now uses that pain into purpose by rallying Amazonians to self discover healing in order to lead their life into a healthy passion.
