TONIGHT’s Topic: “Grounding Techniques for PTSD & Other Invisible Wounds!”
Grounding techniques are strategies that can help a person manage their traumatic memories or strong emotions. They can a person to step away from negative thoughts or flashbacks.
Some of the techniques we’ll discuss can decrease the intensity of a person’s feeling or trauma by distracting them using the five sense. We'll discuss those and few other techniques you can do on your own at any time.
