Walking away is not a bad thing... Change is not bad as many don't like change. But, CHANGE is where life comes into focus. Change drives innovation. Change drives passion, curiosity, new experiences you would not have otherwise experienced. Not that we necessarily seek out change, but when it becomes the right thing to do, then embrace it.
