God's promises are amazingly powerful. It is through the promises of God that we experience His divine nature and inherit His Kingdom. The surest way to see a miracle in your life is to find a promise of God in the Bible and then receive that promise by faith.
But what does it look like to receive a promise of God?
The writer of Hebrews tells us in that great faith hall of fame chapter where it says, "by faith these people overthrew kingdoms, ruled with justice, and received what God had promised them."
By faith we overthrow the lies the kingdom of darkness tells us to try and prevent us from receiving our miracle. We overthrow the lies by saturating our minds with God's truth until it pushes those lies back into the pit where they came from.
At the same time we also administer justice. It starts with our own lives. When things are chaotic and untended in our lives, it hinders opportunity for increase. But when we put things in order and apply some structure to our lives, then we demonstrate our faithfulness with what God has given us.
God can use the framework of that order in our lives to channel increase to us. Then we are truly ready to receive what God promises us. | ||
