BORN AGAIN

Peter is talking about when we accept Jesus into our lives; it is like we were given a fresh start, a new beginning.

having been born again, not of corruptible seed but incorruptible, through the word of God which lives and abides forever. 1 Peter 1:23

Peter compares this spiritual rebirth to seeds. Just like a seed has the potential to grow into something extraordinary, the word of God has the power to transform us from the inside out.

There is a big difference between regular seeds and the seed of the word of God. Regular seeds can decay or die, but the word of God is eternal. It never fades away or loses its power.

Think about it this way: when a seed is planted in good soil, it grows into a robust and healthy plant. The same is true for the Word of God; when we let the Word of God take root in our hearts, it changes us. It shapes our thoughts, attitudes, and actions and gives us hope, strength, and direction.

For a seed to grow, it needs the right conditions: good soil, water, and sunlight. In the same way, for the Word of God to take root in our lives, we need to nurture it.

That means reading the Bible, praying, and surrounding ourselves with people who encourage and challenge us in our faith.

Here is a challenge for you: take some time today to plant the seed of the Word of God in your heart.

It could be reading the Bible plan for today, meditating on the verse for today, or sharing with others about what God is teaching you. Whatever it is, let it take root and grow in your life.

The Bible is not just a bunch of letters on a page. It is living and active, and it has the power to transform you from the inside out.

Let the Word of God shape you into the person He created you to be.

Do you need Prayer? We are here to pray with you.

Heavenly Father, I acknowledge You as my Father God, and my heart's desire is to please You in everything I think, say, and do. I will let Your Word shape me into the person You want me to be. I will read, study, and obey what You have to say. Thank You for all the guidance You have provided for a blessed life. I thank You and pray in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Let The Word Of God Shape You Into The Person He Created You To Be.
