RUSHING TO JUDGE

When we see someone make a mistake or live a different lifestyle, our minds start to form opinions.

To the pure all things are pure, but to those who are defiled and unbelieving nothing is pure; but even their mind and conscience are defiled. Titus 1:15

When our hearts are open to the Word of God and our intentions are rooted in love and goodness, we see the world through a different lens.

We give others the benefit of the doubt and extend grace and understanding instead of rushing to judge. But if our hearts are negative, we are consumed by disbelief or cynicism, and even the most innocent actions can appear negative.

Think about the last time you were unfairly judged. How did it feel? It was probably not great, right?

That is because judgment can hurt deeply, especially when unfounded or harsh. And yet, if we are honest with ourselves, we have likely been on the giving end of that judgment, too.

How do we break free from this cycle of judgment and see the world through the eyes of God?

It starts with the heart. We need to open our hearts and fill them with love, compassion, and empathy.

When we do that, our perspective shifts. We begin to see others not as threats or rivals but as fellow human beings, each deserving of kindness and respect.

This does not mean we turn a blind eye to wrongdoing or condone harmful behavior. It means we approach situations with humility and understanding, recognizing that none of us are perfect and we are all capable of making mistakes.

As you go about your day, remember the wisdom of Paul and let it serve as a reminder to cultivate a heart that extends grace to those around you.

In doing so, you will experience peace and joy in your life and contribute to a world that needs more love and less judgment.

Do you need Prayer? We are here to pray with you.

Heavenly Father, I am so very thankful I know You as Father God, and You are wisdom. I ask You for help and direction as I live each day to be more like You. I desire to reflect You in every thought, action, and deed that I live out each day. I want to love others as You love and portray actions that will bring honor to You. I give all that I am to serving You, my Father God. I pray in the name of Jesus. Amen.

We Need To Open Our Hearts And Fill Them With Love, Compassion, And Empathy.
