The Kingdom of God was one of the most important things to Jesus. Multiple times Jesus said the Kingdom of God was the good news He came to bring. He called it His gospel. The Kingdom of God was pretty much the only message Jesus preached while He was on earth. And He instructed us as His disciples to preach the Kingdom of God too.
In fact, the Kingdom of God was so important to Jesus that it was the primary subject of instruction that He gave to the disciples in the 40 days Jesus walked the earth between His resurrection and His ascension. Luke tells us this in the beginning of the book of Acts.
