The world's way to gain wealth is to work hard and save as much as you can. It's a hoarding system that says you must take from others to get more for yourself. That's exactly backwards from the Kingdom of God. In God's Kingdom the path to wealth is through generosity.
It makes no sense to the natural mind. But the way to accelerate what we receive from God is to give away some of what we have. Jesus said to give and it will be given back to you, good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over.
Giving away what you need requires an act of faith. But doing so unlocks something in the spiritual realm which supernaturally returns more of the very thing you gave away back to you.
The world says that's nuts. God says that's the only way you will see increase in His Kingdom. You get to choose who you will listen to. Kingdom prosperity comes through generosity.
Give freely and become more wealthy;
be stingy and lose everything. — Proverbs 11:24 (NLT)
