There is great power in the words that come out of our mouths. Jesus said that when the words we say line up with what we believe deep in our heart we will have whatever we say.
Life and death is in the power of our tongues. If there is something you don't like about the way your life is going, pay attention to the words you say about that area of your life. Most likely you will find yourself speaking negative words about that situation, which is a big part of your problem.
The bad news is that the bad things we say contribute significantly to the bad things which happen in our lives. But here’s the good news. You can change what you say!
The thing to do is decide to come into agreement with what God’s word says about your current situation instead of agreeing with all the doom and gloom of the world.
Your heart will be transformed when you change the way you think about that part of your life so that it lines up with what the Bible says. Then, as your heart is transformed, your words will also change into life-giving words.
That's when lasting change will come about in your life. | ||
