Jose A. Marines is a native Houstonian who grew up in the East End. He is a seasoned financial professional with over 23 years of experience in the banking industry. Jose began his career as a teller and steadily advanced through a variety of roles, including Teller Supervisor, Personal Banker, Assistant Manager, Branch Manager, Business Banker, and Commercial Relationship Manager. His professional background spans large national banks, mid-sized institutions, and community banks, giving him a well-rounded perspective on the financial services landscape.
Beyond his professional accomplishments, Jose is deeply committed to community involvement. He has coached his son’s soccer team in Crosby and has been an active volunteer at Woodlands Church’s Atascocita Campus since 2013. As a proud alumnus of the West Houston Leadership Institute Class of 2022, he helped launch a sustainable book drive that has delivered more than 1,000 books to the Spring Branch Family Development Center—supporting literacy and fostering community engagement.
