CHOSEN FOR HIS GLORY

In a world that so often measures our worth by what we achieve, how we look, or what others think, Peter offers us a much kinder message. You are chosen, not by chance, but because God loves you deeply.

But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light. 1 Peter 2:9

Long before the world began, God loved you and welcomed you into His family. Peter reminds us that we are a royal priesthood. That means you have direct access to God through Jesus, no need for go-betweens or special qualifications. God hears you because He cares for you.

Your prayers reach the heart of God because Jesus has made the way. With this amazing gift comes a gentle responsibility: to care for others by praying for them and sharing God’s love in how you treat them.

We are also a holy nation, set apart for God’s good purposes. Being holy is not about being perfect, it is about living in a way that shows the world what Jesus is like. Every word we say, every act of kindness, and even how we live when no one else sees, can shine His light to those around us.

You are God’s own special person. You are never forgotten, never overlooked, never left behind, you are treasured. That truth can lift your heart, even on the hardest days.

God has called you out of darkness and into His wonderful light. Let your life tell that story, praise God, love those around you, and walk each day with the confidence that comes from knowing who you are in Jesus.
