It is vital that you begin to see yourself the way God sees you. Most religion teaches that God thinks you are a horrible, filthy, worthless creature. Nothing could be further from the truth!

God sees you as perfect and righteous in Christ, worth giving up His most prized possession for a chance to spend time with you. He values you so much that He provides a way for you to be adopted as His very own son or daughter, simply by believing in Jesus. And now that you’re in Christ He provides an incredibly rich inheritance for you as joint heirs with Jesus.

God's grace gives you the power to see the real you. But that clarity of vision will only come through seeing God's thoughts for you in His word. Meditate on scriptures that talk about you until those God-thoughts become real to your heart.

But by the grace of God I am what I am, and His grace toward me was not in vain; but I labored more abundantly than they all, yet not I, but the grace of God which was with me.
