Lacking courage is a symptom of a deeper problem. If you don't have boldness in your life to say and do what you know is right, your problem is that you don't yet truly know your position in Christ.

When you get a revelation of the righteousness you now have in Christ, and who God made you to be, confidence will well up from deep within you for all to see. Then it doesn’t make any difference what happens, or what anyone else says about you because God’s opinion of you is the one that really matters. And He says you are perfectly righteous in Christ.

That courage you need to face that giant in front of you today? It's already inside you, waiting to be released. All that's required is for you to come to believe the fullness of the righteousness that Jesus has already imparted to you. In Christ, you are as bold as a lion!
