Too many believers mistakenly think there is nothing good in them. Outside of Christ there isn't. However, once we are born again, we are never outside of Christ again.

That means now, as a follower of Jesus, you have all sorts of good things in you. Initially those good things are in your spirit. But that’s the real you anyway. And over time, as you discover those good things that are now in you because you believe in Jesus, they will begin to overflow out into your soul. That’s when others start to see the transformation happening in your life.

It is vital that you start to acknowledge those good things that are now in you because of your new identity in Christ. It's so critical because the Bible says that effective faith comes from acknowledging all the good things now in you through Jesus.

Do you want your faith to be effective? Then learn all the good things that are now in you because you are in Christ.

That the sharing of your faith may become effective by the acknowledgment of every good thing which is in you in Christ Jesus. — Philemon 1:6 (NKJV)
