Do you realize that, because you believe in Jesus, the Bible says that God's blessings will come on you and overtake you? It doesn't make any sense to seek blessings from God. His blessings are going to be chasing you down and overtaking anyway, just because you are now in Christ.

Instead, seek God's Kingdom and His Kingdom ways. Learn the fullness of everything the gospel of Jesus Christ has for you. Learn so much about the very righteousness of God that you now have because you are in Christ that you begin to believe it.

Then all the other stuff that you want and need will be added to you anyway. You can count on that because Jesus Himself promises it to you.

And all these blessings will come on you and overtake you if you listen to the voice of the Lord your God. — Deuteronomy 28:2 (MEV)
