WALKING IN VICTORY |
Life often brings challenges our way, some we can see, and others we can not. These enemies are not always people; sometimes, they are feelings like fear, anxiety, or temptation, or tough situations that seem too big to handle. But the Lord your God you shall fear; and He will deliver you from the hand of all your enemies. 2 Kings 17:39 God’s people were gently reminded of a simple but powerful truth: when we choose to walk closely with the Lord, He lovingly takes responsibility for our deliverance. To fear the Lord does not mean being afraid of God. It is about standing in awe of His goodness, recognizing how wonderful and powerful He is, and making Him the most important part of our lives. When we do this, something beautiful happens, our perspective changes. Instead of feeling overwhelmed by our problems, we remember just how great our God is. Israel struggled with this, too. They sometimes trusted in the wrong things, hoping they would bring protection or happiness, but those things always let them down. Only God has the power to truly help and rescue us. This Bible verse offers a wonderful promise: when we honor God, He will lovingly intervene to help us, no matter what we are facing. Today, the things we rely on instead of God might look different. Maybe we rely on money, success, or even our own abilities, but the truth remains unchanged. God is still the only One who can truly deliver us. When we put Him first, by praying, trusting His promises, and following His guidance, we place ourselves under His loving care. No enemy is too strong when God is on our side. He might not take away every challenge right away, but He always helps us in the way that’s best for us. Our part is to trust Him, walk with Him, and let His love and strength carry us through the battles we can not face alone. Let this promise encourage your heart today: when you honor and trust the Lord, you never have to be afraid of what you face.

Do you need Prayer? We are here to pray with you. |
Heavenly Father, teach me to walk in reverence before You. Help me trust Your power above all else and rest in Your promise of deliverance. Guard my heart from fear, and let me live each day confident in Your protection. In the name of Jesus. Amen. |
When You Fear The Lord, You Do Not Have To Fear Your Enemies.
