Day 16 of the "RIPRIDE4Vets 2021" – Over 8,000 miles booked already with Day 16 in the history books. Arrived in Plymouth, MN just in time for lunch with two great warriors that I’ve had the pleasure of deploying with and serving with in the military MAJ (Ret) Brian Schoonover and COL (Ret) John Rosnow. Closed out the day with a long ride southeast to Chicago, IL where Bella and I had dinner with our daughter Madalyn Burroughs, Jairo Orondo, and Diane Barenat a great restaurant. (See Pictures below)
Day 17 of 21 – Big day today as I depart Chicago, IL headed for my hometown of Washington, IL and then off to Kewanee, IL to Reiman’s Harley Davidson to pick up some riders and then off to an event at the Psycho Silo Saloon in Langley, IL. When that event is over headed down to COL (Ret) John P. Edwards, Former Commander of the 357th Aviation Detachment back in 1977 and his wife Jackie Edwards. My final resting place will close to Simpson, IL to visit with and hopefully have dinner with COL (Ret) Carl Whicker. Long Day 17, with (4) days remaining
