The “Colonel’s” VFV Motivational/Inspirational Quotes & Message of the Day!

Good “Saturday!” Morning “Band of Brothers & Sisters,” and all great connections. Welcome to the weekend from the “Colonel’s Foxhole” in The Woodlands, TX — 26 March 2022!

Today’s Message is: “Thrive Day!” Why Not?

“Leadership within an organization will thrive and grow when the organization and its people are self-motivated, inspired, and poised for success. The agile leader is focused on all outcomes and delivering excellence. They don’t micromanage the people on how to accomplish their work, yet the people thrive when the work is done well. When you have agile, sound, and visionary leadership you thrive as an organization, you rise as a team, and you arrive as a leader!” — COL (Ret) Mikel Burroughs

Good afternoon Col Burroughs and all of my brothers and sisters here on VFV. I have found out that for me to thrive, I must maintain and grow in my relationship with our Creator God and His Son, Jesus Christ. I have been blessed beyond measure, maybe not so much in worldly financial matters, but in so much more. God, of recent times, truly blessed me with the opportunity to survive Cancer and my ongoing pain issues, so that I could continue to thrive and share the Good News of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. This is the kind of thriving that I wish to share and encourage others, so they may enjoy that gift as well. I hope that…

All work and no play makes one a very dull person and experience has shown me that dull people have a hard time thriving at anything.
