Today’s Message is: “Essential Day!” Why Not?

“What are the essential elements or skills in Leadership? One of the most important elements is two-way communications. Communicating a vision and readily accepting feedback is essential. Good leaders know their people’s strengths and weaknesses. They know themselves and they know their purpose. Leaders think strategically, promote innovativeness, lead with integrity, and they earn trust. The most essential work is creating more leaders. What are your most essential qualities and components of leadership?” — COL (Ret) Mikel Burroughs

There are a few things that are essential, air, water, and food come to mind, but people really don't factor into that equation. A great leader should be transparent. If they've really done their job they may be missed, but not essential.

Great point about leaders being missed, but not essential. If they did their job correctly the next leader is ready and stepping up to the plate... Have a great day Jack!
