The “Colonel’s” VFV Motivational/Inspirational Quotes & Message of the Day!

The “Colonel’s” VFV Motivational/Inspirational Quotes & Message of the Day!

Happy Independence Day!

Good “Monday & Independence Day!” Morning “Band of Brothers & Sisters,” and all great connections. Welcome to the new week and Independence Day from the “Colonel’s Foxhole” in The Woodlands, TX — 4 July 2022!

Today’s Message is: “Improvement Day!” Why Not?

“Leadership should always be about attention to detail. That means leaders should be striving toward improvement in all of their leadership traits and motivating others to do the same. Demanding or chasing perfection is not a trait and is seldom achieved. Working toward excellence, growth, and improvement will lead to better outcomes, progress, and desired results. There will never be a perfect leader, but there will always be the leader that is learning, growing, and improving through experience and willingness to go the extra mile. Leadership is about balance and constant improvement. Are you improving each day as a leader?” — COL (Ret) Mikel Burroughs

Good afternoon Col Burroughs and all of my brothers and sisters here on VFV. I hope y’all have been having a great celebration of the 4th of July. I have been having unbelievable internet problems for some time and it continues. For today’s motivational quote response I would like to offer the below from I-Bible. I receive these daily. The one for today I feel touches upon improvement, so I have chosen it as my response today. Have a blessed day today and always.

Daily Reading Plan: Galatians 5:13

“For you, brethren, have been called to liberty; only do not use liberty as an opportunity for the flesh, but through love serve one another.”

Galatians 5:13

Happy July 4th Colonel. One thing I remember regarding improvement was when the Air Force started using TQM. It was a disaster!
