The “Colonel’s” VFV Motivational/Inspirational Quotes & Message of the Day!
Good “Thursday!” Morning “Band of Brothers & Sisters,” and all great connections. Welcome from the “Colonel’s Foxhole” in The Woodlands, TX — 29 September 2022!
Today’s Message is: “Presence Day!” Why Not?
“Leadership presence is just about being in the room or showing up! It’s about the ability to take command, build confidence, inspire, and motivate people to action and create results. Leaders build their leadership presence by displaying courage in the face of challenges, focusing on the 25-meter target, taking action with purpose, and moving forward with commitment. A strong leadership presence will earn respect and trust. Leaders are not here to impress people with their looks, they are here to impact, energize, and influence others to complete the mission?” — COL (Ret) Mikel Burroughs

Good Thursday evening Colonel. This is my last night on Cape Cod.
I’m glad that you think so. It is always my pleasure to post or talk about our loving Heavenly Father. I will tell Linda. She is still quite sore and drug out from our fall and keeping up with traveling the hour to see me at the hospital. Her bruises are starting to heal welol. She tried to keep me from fal when I past out from my heart attack and ended up being slammed into the closet doors. Had it not been for the folks that we have adopted and are living in our basement, neither of us would be live today. Blessings.
Good afternoon Col Burroughs and all of my brothers and sisters here on VFV. When I hear the word presence, it always makes me think about the presence of God. His presence in my life is what continues to guide me in what I do. May the presence of God be in your lives as well. Have a blessed day in the presence of God today and always.

What Does It Mean to Be in the Presence of God?
God’s presence is everywhere. This is sometimes called God’s omnipresence. Inversely, the Lord repeatedly equates His judgment as removal from His presence and blessing.
