Hello all,

Victory For Veterans had its second BIKE22: Victory Tour in Las Vegas and had a great turnout of 55 cyclists and volunteers! Two groups left around 7am (to beat the heat); a 22 mile group and 22 km group! All had a good time, a good workout and enjoyed meeting others and talking after.

After the ride we heard from Sergeant Guny Aragon, 7 year Army veteran who was injured when he stepped on an IED. Guny was our key cyclists leader and team organizer. Guny shared how losing a brother or sister to suicide is really painful and he is committed to helping other veterans in need.

We heard from Assemblyman Tyrone Thompson, District 17, who has worked tirelessly in Nevada on behalf of veterans.

I spoke briefly about VFV’s Mission and Vision of zero suicides and of building the FUND to $1B.

We want to thank several groups and organizations who helped out today!

Walmart

702 Shifters

Nevada Bike Club

IAVA

Project Hero

VFW

and other volunteers from different groups.

We hope to see you in a city near you sometime in the next 14 months.

Thank you supporters and bicyclists for a great day!

Steve

Thank you Steve! What a great day in Las Vegas. It was 115 degrees for the bikers and yet there was a good turnout.

Steve has just begun. He has Salt Lake City next and then he is coming to my hometown of Salem, Oregon. That will be July 22nd. Looking for many to show up and ride with Steve. You can register ahead of time right here.

Look for a Bike22 event coming near you. Steve is going to over 90 cities in the next year and a half. Join him and support our veterans as well.

For veterans:

You are never alone.

You are never forsaken.

You are never unloved.

And above all….never, ever, give up!
