"Dec 1st is the birthday of one who is regarded as the second worst poet in the world, preceded only by Scotland's WIlliam McGonagal. A poetaster, or a person who writes inferior poetry, as she was known as, Julia A Moore, was born in 1847 and died in 1920 yet still has much to teach us. How? As drawn as she was to disasters and tragedies with a lot of her work, and with her poems were once said by humorist Edgar Wilson Nye that hearing her was "worse that a gatling gun". WIth that negativity about her talent, what could Mrs Moore possibly teach us? Tune in tonight to find out.
