"On September 20, 1904, almost 220 years today, Orville and Wilbur Wright flew the Flyer II in a circle for the first time in history. While this monumental achievement made it possible for aircraft to return to their takeoff locations without having to land and rotate the aircraft back in the homebound direction, it, unfortunately, created a historical irony in that men have been flying in circles ever since!
Not only in aircraft, but in our attempts to get care from the VA, filing for disability, treating our own depression and PTSD, self-care, etc. It seems we are always returning to Step 1 for whatever reasons and it's time to stop the cycle and proceed with forward progress.
