Join our Volunteer, Air Force Veteran, Peer Support Specialist/AdultTrainer, and Writer/Author Steven Bates TONIGHT for "Mid-Week Musings!" edition of Warriors for Life (WFL) Online, sponsored and presented by Victory for Veterans, Inc. (VFV).

We are asking everyone to share who we are and the support that Victory for Veterans, Inc. (VFV) is providing through Warriors for Life (WFL). If you know someone who is a veteran, first responder or a family member/caregiver, please ask them to join us for at least one meeting so they can learn more about what we do and how they can share their wisdom with others who may be able to learn from them.

"Winnie the Pooh & Wellness too!"

Tonight, with Air Force veteran, author, and Peer Support Specialist Steven Bates during the Warriors for Life Mid-Week Musings Peer Support group, we'll take a look at the wondrous world of Pooh and how it relates to our own mental health.  Join us as we join Pooh in the Hundred Acre Wood, discovering all the richness and wisdom A.A. Milne shared with the world one hundred years ago today!

A hundred years ago today, a man named A.A. Milne published a book that sparked imaginations for generations to come.  Interestingly enough, the characters in that seemingly innocent children's book were an in-depth analysis of mental health issues and symptoms.  In that regard, Pooh and his compatriots have helped countless people in their own struggles with mental illnesses, phobias, and conditions.  Universities have offered courses in Pooh-isms, books such as "The TAO of Pooh" have been written on the subject, and therapists worldwide have used the characters of the Winnie the Pooh book to help patients for nearly a century.

Our Vision at Victory for Veterans, Inc. (VFV) is simple: "Where Hope, Support, and Healing come together!"

We encourage you to join us, Everyone is Welcome, Everyone Matters, You Matter to Us, so Talk to Us! — invite a friend!
