In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace.
Ephesians 1:7 |
REDEEMED AND FREE |
Paul reminds us that through Jesus’ loving sacrifice, we have been redeemed and forgiven. No matter what we’ve done, every sin, mistake, and failure is lovingly covered by God’s amazing grace. In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace. Ephesians 1:7 We do not need to hold onto guilt or shame because Jesus paid the full price for our freedom. Redemption is not something we have to earn, it is a precious gift we’ve already received through Jesus. Redemption means being lovingly bought back. In Biblical times, it described freeing someone by paying a ransom. That is what Jesus did for us, He gave everything to set us free from sin and death. His sacrifice was not just symbolic; it was complete and priceless. When we reflect on this, it can fill our hearts with humility and deep gratitude. God’s forgiveness is not partial or conditional, it is rich, abundant, and overflowing. Paul tells us it is according to the riches of His grace, not the limits of our own goodness. No matter how many times we have stumbled or how far we may have wandered, His grace is always enough to welcome us back. We get to live each day as forgiven people, not condemned ones. This changes how we see ourselves and others. When we truly realize how generously we have been forgiven, it becomes so much easier to forgive those who hurt us. We can walk in the same grace that has been poured out on us, sharing it freely with others. Today, let this be a reminder: you are fully redeemed and completely forgiven. There is no need to strive for acceptance, you already have it through Jesus. Walk in that freedom, and let His grace guide the way you live, love, and forgive. |

Heavenly Father, thank You for redeeming me through the blood of Jesus. Help me to walk in the freedom of Your forgiveness and to extend that same grace to others. Let my life reflect the richness of Your mercy every day. In the name of Jesus. Amen. |
