The “Colonel’s” VFV Motivational/Inspirational Quotes & Message of the Day!

Good “Monday!” Morning “Band of Brothers & Sisters,” and all great connections. Welcome to the new week from the “Colonel’s Foxhole” in The Woodlands, TX — 26 September 2022!

Today’s Message is: “See Day!” Why Not?

“Leaders see things differently! Leaders look and see things that others don’t. Every leader and individual will see the world through their own eyes. Leaders will take action based on what they see, but only after they see all the facts. They will see mistakes as investments in learning and not making the same mistake twice. Effective leaders will mentor, coach, and encourage others to see things differently, so they get the total picture of the vision or mission. Leaders need their site and insight to be the very best they can be. Are you a leader that can see the past, present, and future as a continuous experience developing over time?”— COL (Ret) Mikel Burroughs

Good morning Col Burroughs and all of my brothers and sisters here on VFV. Today is a rather sad day for me. Our small dog fell off the bed onto the floor early this morning. My wife took her the vet and it was determined that she had severed her spine. The vet said that what ever mobility that could be given her would leave her helpless to go poop or urinate, plus she would be in pain. What I’m leading to is that we saw in her was love and trust and I hope that she saw that in us. May God bless each of you today and always.

It's a big world out there, open your eyes wide, take it all in and process it all. Tunnel vision will only get you into trouble.
